We will travel from Granada to the province of Malaga to visit one of the most impressive mountain routes in Andalusia. A route of more than 3 kilometers with less than a meter wide and 105 meters high, to get your adrenaline pumping and enjoy the impressive views that this gorge allows us to photograph.
The Caminito del Rey complex was inaugurated in 1921 by King Alfonso XIII, it is located between the Guadalhorce and Guadalteba reservoirs, on the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, and it is an amazing road built on the rock.
We will follow the explanations and indications of a professional mountain guide throughout the tour and we will contemplate the incredible views that this unique walkway offers us. What a thrill! In addition, we will learn everything about the environment and its environmental importance, the local fauna and flora.
After the route through the Caminito del Rey, we will enjoy a delicious lunch with the typical dishes of the area in the nearby town of Ardales and free time to visit the area.
Finally, we will return to Granada for a well-deserved rest after a perfect day of emotions in nature.
